Cookie Policy

What cookies FrenzPoll uses, which ones are required for the site to work, and how you can accept or reject the rest.

Effective 26 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-26 · Operated by Frenz LLC

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. FrenzPoll, operated by Frenz LLC, uses these technologies to run the site, keep you signed in, remember your cookie choice, and — if you allow it — understand how public pages are used.

2. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept optional cookies or reject non-essential ones. Essential cookies cannot be switched off if you want the Service to work (for example, staying logged in). You can also control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in.

Your banner choice is stored locally on your device as frenz-cookie-consent. Clearing site data will cause the banner to appear again.

3. Essential cookies

These are required to provide the Service you requested:

  • Authentication and session cookies issued by our sign-in system, so we can recognise you across pages and keep your account secure.
  • Security cookies and tokens used for CSRF protection, rate limiting, and bot checks (including Cloudflare Turnstile on registration, which is a challenge loaded from Cloudflare, not a FrenzPoll advertising cookie).
  • Cookie-preference storage so we can honour a “reject non-essential” choice.

Legal basis: these are strictly necessary. We set them on the basis of our contract with you (if you have an account) and our legitimate interest in operating a secure site.

4. Optional cookies

If you click Accept, we may use optional analytics cookies or local storage to see which public pages are useful (for example, how visitors move from the homepage to sign-up). We do not use advertising networks, cross-site tracking pixels, or social “like” buttons that follow you around the web.

If you reject non-essential cookies, the product still works. You will simply not contribute to optional analytics. Legal basis for optional cookies: consent.

5. Third parties

Survey entry links take you to independent research suppliers. Those sites set their own cookies under their policies. We do not control them. Cloudflare may set cookies related to traffic security when you load Turnstile or when traffic is proxied through Cloudflare.

We do not allow third-party advertising cookies on FrenzPoll itself.

6. How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close the browser or after a period of inactivity. Persistent authentication cookies last for the life of your signed-in session as configured by our auth provider (typically weeks, unless you sign out). Cookie-preference storage remains until you clear it. Optional analytics cookies, if enabled, are kept only as long as needed to produce aggregate reports.
